Fun trip down the California coast - the mission at San Juan Bautista, John Steinbeck museum in Salinas, artichoke hearts for lunch at Nepenthe in Big Sur and the Hearst Castle in San Simeon. (sadly, the stunning outdoor pool was drained for repairs!)
