Students in this class had fun trying watercolor sketches for journals. These are perfect to carry while traveling, hiking ... or just on the bus. The point of these journals is to quickly record a scene or object to capture what the artist finds interesting. The results are fresh and spontaneous and not overworked. These small watercolor sketches are valuable later in the studio for more developed paintings.
